Memorial Ossuary in Veles

The Memorial Ossuary is built in 1979 near the entrance of Veles. This memorial is dedicated to the fighters from Veles, who died during World War II.

The memorial is a work of art of the sculptor Ljubomir Denković and the architect Sava Subotin. The symbol of freedom in a form of a blossoming tree is in the central part of the interior, while the walls of the memorial are covered with the biggest mosaic complex in Macedonia, created by the academic painter Petar Mazev.
