The small church of St. Nicholas was built and painted in the 14th century. It is located near the monastery St. Dimitrij, above the road leading from Veles to Gradsko.
By construction, the church is single-nave, small in size, with a three-sided apse in the east and entrance to the west side. It is built with crushed stone and alternating horizontal and vertical rows of carpets and brick.
According to the method of construction this church belongs to the temples that are characteristic of medieval art in Macedonia until the end of the 14th century.
More recently, a porch has been added to the west side.
Today the church serves as a chapel.
